Read a little fast, but good voice!
GOOD SHORT STORY
AVID READER
The author succeeds in making us understand the thoughts and actions of the characters, a marvelous feat given the brevity of the work. Van Stan gives his always good reading. What a shame that we can no longer deal with personal affronts in such a satisfying manner. Civilization is not always improving.
Could not enjoy

I love Dumas, and have read many of his other books multiple times, but for some reason, this one could not keep my interest. No, really, it's not you, it's me...
