an enthralling tale

A long and interesting story written by an author who is an astute observer of human nature. This really should be adapted into a BBC television series!
great story

Haydn
What a good well written story this is, and the reader does well to complete it. however, he does struggle , especially with the accents, which gave a few unintentional laughs. Having discovered this author now I will search out more from her.
Another interesting story by SBG

A LibriVox Listener
Enjoyed this. Appreciate the reader taking the time to read this into the public domain. It's got to be hard to read dialectics.

A LibriVox Listener
Very good. Kept my interest the entire time.
enjoyed the story LOVED the ending

great story by a pretty good narrator. I don't want to disparage but this would be amazing narrated by one of librivox's best... mark Nelson maybe. or maybe someone else more suited to the prose I'm sorry after listening to more i have to declare.. Worst Yorkshire accent ever... sorry
