Spoiler Alert !!! Super well done SCI-Fy, as well as the addition of what most more modern SCI-FIES lack, which is a well done romance story in addition to the star hopping, gun slinging, action. A wonderful listen, thank you to the Librivox volunteers !!!

super awesome

My first Doc Smith book. It reads a bit like a comic book including some of the cliches driving the plot. The main character is a Mr. Darcy like with his taking seriously the concept that where there is a real superiority of mind… the rest of the characters including the leading lady Bell are quite stock. However the story did make me want to see what happens next. I also enjoyed the exploration of a psionic driven universe even with some of the oversimplifications it creates in this treatment. Of course reader Mark Nelson always great- probably the reason I gave it a go in the first place.

Awesome book, awesome reader!

I really like the messages and ideas conveyed in this story, and the reader pulls off the narration really well. The ending came a bit soon. I wish I could know what happened with the rest of the story!

I gave up

I didn’t complete this one, the reading is great but the story itself seems embedded in some very tired “battle of the sexes” nonsense. I quickly became irritated and switched off

I'm on my 8th listen.

Everytime I listen i pick up on more and more. I'm amazed how well the author plotted this all out in advance. Great reading. Great story.

3rd time listening...

As epic as Triplanetary / The First Lensmen series is, I'm beginning to think I enjoy The Galaxy Primes book more so. It's just... fun. Intelligent & fun.

WORLD'S BEST DISGUISED LOVE STORY

Strange story. stranger ending. A retelling of the old tale that man is merely a drop of water in someone's water jug. Well read.
